QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should possess a qualification in youth work, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or be actively working towards gaining such qualifications. Experience of working with young people in related fields is desirable. Applicants who do not yet have this experience but are willing to undertake training are also encouraged to apply.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Youth Engagement: Engage with young people to foster positive relationships and support their personal and social development.
• Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management techniques to facilitate a safe and supportive environment.
• Development Support: Utilise knowledge of child development to cater to the diverse needs of young people.
• Safeguarding: Uphold safeguarding practices to ensure the welfare of all young people under your care.
